Who is Sernika "Nikka"

 I am the owner and founder of Tiny Hands Big Hearts. I have been caring for children for a total of 18  years; 12 of which have been professionally and I love it. I have worked in a variety of settings; that being at an in-home daycare, as a dedicated aid (one-on-one) in an elementary school, before and aftercare program both being within Prince George's County Public Schools and I've worked as a live-out nanny. I am comfortable with caring  for all ages of children but I love infants and toddlers. Seeing children have their "aha" moments along with their  growth and development is one of my favorite parts. I graduated with a degree in American Sign Language and currently work as an Interpreter in a variety of settings. Both ASL and children are my passions. I have taught ASL to children within a  private school as part of their after school program.
